Agricultural and Occupational Safety and Health Graduate Certificate

This certificate will provide students with knowledge and skills to fulfill the workplace safety and health management duties they will encounter during their careers in agriculture and related industries. Safety and health management is a rapidly growing field. Qualified workers are needed to fill new openings and to replace the aging workforce. Safety and health professionals enter the field from a variety of scientific, manufacturing, health, technical, and social science disciplines. Completion of this certificate will help qualify students for safety-related employment in conjunction with their undergraduate and graduate degrees from Kansas State University.

Admission Requirements
Admission to the Graduate School as a degree-seeking or non-degree-seeking student. Graduation Requirements
To be awarded the graduate certificate, the student (a) must have earned all the required credits in the six years prior to the semester in which the certificate plan is submitted, (b) must not be on probation, (c) must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on graduate coursework and on coursework applied to the certificate, (d) must meet all the requirements of the Graduate School and the certificate program, (e) must be enrolled during the semester when the student applies for graduation for the certificate, and (f) must provide official transcripts for any approved transfer credits. Transfer credit must be from an accredited institution.
