The Graduate Certificate in Computer Science Education is designed to expose in-service and preservice teachers to content and pedagogical knowledge associated with teaching computer science at the elementary and secondary levels. With a focus on computational thinking skills, the certificate focuses on the connected nature of computer science to all core content areas in K-12 education.
After earning the graduate certificate, students may apply credits earned through the graduate certificate completion towards a Master of Curriculum & Instruction, or a Doctorate of Curriculum & Instruction (EdD or PhD) at Kansas State University.
