Through the Leading Change Graduate Certificate, you will engage in leadership learning and development needed for social innovation and systems change. You will develop the capacity to navigate increasingly complex environments and challenges and gain transformative skills to exercise leadership in your personal, professional, and civic life. The coursework will prepare you to lead change across teams, organizations, and society. Regardless of profession, discipline, or industry, you will build confidence in your ability to create change and inspire diverse groups of people to work together for a more prosperous future for all. 

This certificate may connect with one or more master degree programs. At the recommendation of the academic program, students may apply credits earned through this graduate certificate completion towards a graduate program at Kansas State University, provided that all Graduate School policies are fulfilled. 

Admission Requirements


  • All students are required to meet the general university admission requirements.
  • Exceptions granted for 2.8 GPA on probationary status.

Graduation Requirements


The minimum grade requirements for certificate programs are the same as those for graduate degrees. For graduate credit, the grade in a course must be C or higher. To remain in good standing, a student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
