The Special Education, Counseling, and Student Affairs  graduate program offers a Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling and Student Development with an emphasis in Counselor Education and Supervision.  The program requires a minimum of 96 hours post baccalaureate. Training extends beyond that found in the entry-level, basic master’s program. The doctoral program addresses the professional leadership roles in counselor education, supervision, advanced counseling practice, and research competencies. The program is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).
