The Master of Interior Architecture provides a comprehensive and vibrant approach to studying design. From reconstructing building interiors to individual products, our students are grounded in the essential process of inquiry, design and the making of space and form.

Course Requirements


Environmental Design Studies Program


IARC Non-Baccalaureate Professional Program


Summer Study (7 credit hours)


Eighth semester (14 credit hours)


Ninth semester (16 credit hours)


Tenth semester (15 credit hours)


Notes


*A minimum of eleven (11) general elective credits must be taken. General electives may be taken in pursuit of a minor. They may be taken any time prior to or during the Interior Architecture program and may include K-State approved AP, IB, CLEP and transfer credit. Students may not count more than three (3) total hours of recreation credits toward graduation.

**Focus Courses include IARC 605  Problems in IARC, as well as other department head approved courses, including those associated with a minor program.

***Electives taken in the eighth semester should support student interest including professional electives and study abroad courses. These may also be associated with a minor program.
