Politics, Philosophy, and Economics of Health Policy Certificate

Multidisciplinary study of health policy integrating economic, political and ethical aspects of policy choice in medicine and public health. Students will acquire skills in the normative evaluation of public health policies, and investigate the economic consequences and the politics of policies in medicine and public health.

Required Courses: 9 credit hours
These courses introduce students to the necessary background in ethical, economic and political policy analysis of policies in medicine and public health. Electives: 3 credit hours
These courses allow students to take a more narrowly focused look at health policy in some domain. |
