A total of 120 credit hours are required for graduation. The BS degree is obtained by following the curriculum of the College of Health and Human Sciences.
Kinesiology majors must take a minimum of 39 kinesiology credit hours that include 18 credit hours from the lower evel core, and 21 hours from the upper level core with a requirement of one of the physiology course options, one of the exercise behavioral science course options, and 15 credit hours of 300 level or above Kinesiology courses, with at least 3 of the 15 elective hours being a 600 or higher level course.
A minimum grade of C and GPA of 2.2 are required for all kinesiology courses meeting degree requirements.

Kansas State University Core: 34-36 Credit Hours
K-State Core is the foundation for an impactful life and career after time at K-State. The K-State Core framework covers six disciplinary areas: English, Communications, Mathematics & Statistics, Natural & Physical Sciences, Social & Behavioral Sciences, and Arts and Humanities. In addition, a seventh area is reserved for institutionally designated use, which K-State is keeping as free electives. In total, the framework takes up 34-35 credit hours of 100 and 200-level coursework. Students who complete their general education elsewhere cannot be required to take additional general education coursework in the disciplinary areas of the framework without permission from KBOR to continue requiring courses in the K-State Core. Grades of ‘C’ or higher required for Professional Courses. A GPA of 2.2 for all Kinesiology courses excluding KIN 360 is required. Kinesiology Lower-level Courses: (18 credits hours)
Exercise Physiology: (3 credit hours)
Choose one of the following courses: Exercise Behavioral Science: (3 credit hours)
Choose one of the following courses: Kinesiology Elective Courses 300 level or higher: (24 credit hours)
Select 24 hours of Kinesiology courses above 300 level not applied elsewhere. At least 3 hours must be 600 level or above. Unrestricted electives: (17 credit hours)
