Advertising and Public Relations Minor

The 18-hour minor in advertising and public relations is designed to prepare all majors with highly desired workplace skillsets beneficial to a variety of career paths, including brand awareness and reputation management, strategic planning, ethically engaged communication and digital brand management. Students will be introduced to basic advertising and public relations theories and techniques, enabling them to create persuasive messages with a strong emphasis in data-driven and ethical decision-making.
