The purpose for the Community Health certificate is to provide specific training to individuals seeking knowledge and experiences pertaining to Community Health. A Community Health Worker is someone who works with and educates small groups and communities to improve the health of their constituents. This academic certificate program is not a licensing or credentialing certification.
This certificate can be completed by degree seeking students at Kansas State University or obtained as a credential on its own (free-standing).

Course Requirements (16-19 credit hours)
Students must earn a grade of “C” or better in all coursework.
