French Minor

Develop intermediate level language skills in French as well as an interdisciplinary foundation in the culture of the French-speaking world.

Program requirements
The following are the French minor requirements: - 18 credit hours of French courses at the 200-level or above, must include a literature course (FREN 520 or FREN 521 or FREN 530).
- You must receive a “C” or better, or a minimum GPA of 2.5, in all courses counted toward a minor.
- Classes for the minor cannot be taken Pass/Fail. Retroactive Credit from KSU does apply toward the minor.
- We strongly encourage students to Study Abroad. While we will accept appropriate coursework taken toward the minor, no more than 6 credit hours of transfer courses may be used for the minor.
French Language & Culture Courses (18 credit hours)
18 credit hours of French courses at and above the 200-level, including one literature course from the following list: FREN 520, FREN 521, or FREN 530. |
