The Machine Learning and Autonomous Systems Graduate Certificate provides students with a comprehensive, advanced hands-on education focused on the design, development and deployment of machine learning and artificial intelligence frameworks within autonomous systems. Students will learn how to create autonomous systems that are cognitively-enabled using modern probabilistic programming languages. Students will be immersed in the fundamental theories of machine learning and the application of those theories leading to the operationalization of an autonomous systems framework.

Admission Requirements
A bachelor’s degree, official transcripts for all undergraduate coursework (minimum 3.0 GPA required), official transcripts for all graduate coursework (if applicable), and a curriculum vitae. While not required, two letters of recommendation and highlighted industry experience can be used to improve an individual’s application. GRE is not required.
Graduation Requirements
The student must:
- have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- not be on probation
- have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher
- meet all the requirements of the Graduate School, the student’s academic program area, and the student’s supervisory committee
- be enrolled during the semester in which the degree requirements are completed.
