Cyber Human Systems Graduate Certificate

Cyber Human Systems integrate knowledge from a broad range of cybernetic sciences to design new computing systems to amplify humans’ diverse physical and cognitive capabilities to accomplish individual and collective goals; assess the benefits, effects, and risks of computing systems; or understand how human, technical and contextual aspects of systems interact to shape those effects. The Graduate Certificate in Cyber Human Systems will allow students to understand and navigate advanced human-centered cybernetic and immersive systems. The Certificate will prepare students for cyber human systems thinking, emerging immersive technologies, cyber human systems project management, and advanced prototyping of interactive immersive environments.

Admission Requirements
A bachelor’s degree, official transcripts for all undergraduate coursework (minimum 3.0 GPA required), official transcripts for all graduate coursework (if applicable), and a curriculum vitae. While not required, two letters of recommendation and highlighted industry experience can be used to improve an individual’s application. GRE is not required.
Graduation Requirements
The student (a) must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, (b) must not be on probation, (c) must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher, (d) must meet all the requirements of the Graduate School, the student’s academic program area, and the student’s supervisory committee, and (e) must be enrolled during the semester in which the degree requirements are completed.
