The Department has an internationally recognized graduate program leading to the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. A wide variety of opportunities for graduate study are offered in several areas of applied and basic research such as integrated pest management, molecular biology, toxicology, ecology, medical-veterinary entomology, and others. Graduates go on to Ph.D. programs, postdoctoral positions, other academic positions, government agencies and non-government organizations, and private industry.

The Master’s degree requires a minimum of 30 hours of graduate credit beyond the B.S. degree. See the M.S. degree program requirements in the Graduate Handbook for additional information: https://www.k-state.edu/grad/student-success/graduate-handbook/chapter2.html
