Offered by the School of Applied and Interdisciplinary Studies (Olathe Campus) , this 12-credit program delivers scientific and technical skills in food, animal health, and related areas. After completion of the program, students will be able to 1) demonstrate ability to use information, concepts, analytical approaches, and critical thinking skills to transform ideas or solutions into entirely new forms, and 2) demonstrate the ability to perform in one or more disciplines. Students will take a foundation course in Interdisciplinary Process and courses in at least two disciplines. The Interdisciplinary Process course integrates methods and analytical frameworks to enable students to gain a more comprehensive understanding of complex issues and enhanced ability to address broad and multi-faceted challenges. Courses are offered online, face-to-face, and in combination.
