Personal Financial Planning (Ph.D.)

The Personal Financial Planning doctoral program is housed within the College of Health and Human Sciences. The program is designed to provide talented and ambitious students with knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to achieve success as college and university faculty, practitioners of financial planning, and productive citizens of the State of Kansas and the United States. A dedicated commitment to enhancing students’ personal development will prepare students to excel academically and professionally, leading ultimately to more rewarding and creative lives.
If students have not taken a graduate-level statistics course in the recent past they may be required to take STAT 703 or another introductory research and statistics course prior to their first session on campus.

Degree Requirements (90 credit hours)
Research Courses (minimum 46 credit hours)
Grades of B or better are required for FSHS 805, 806, 906, 888, 889, 890, 906.
