Application Process:
The application process is the same as for the stand-alone MSDA degree except that completion of the B.S.B.A. degree is not required. Students may begin the application process in the semester they are completing the final course requirement for admission, but formal admission will not be granted until all admission requirements are completed. The student must submit all of the following documents to be considered. Typically, application is made in the second semester of the student’s Junior year, with acceptance following posting of final grades.
- KSU graduate application form completed on-line before semester of enrollment.
- Student’s statement of academic objective(s).
- Two letters of recommendation.
- Official transcript(s) of all undergraduate work.
Admission to the MSDA program is provisional, subject to completion of the B.S.B.A. degree and maintaining a 3.0 GPA in the final 60 credit hours of coursework. Once admitted, the requirements for the graduate degree are the same as for the regular MSDA program. Students may count up to 9 credit hours of courses taken for graduate credit toward the unrestricted electives in the B.S.B.A. The B.S. degree may be awarded at any time following the completion of the undergraduate degree requirements. Alternatively, the B.S. and MSDA degrees may be awarded concurrently.
