Students who intend to become secondary school mathematics teachers may prepare for teacher licensure by completing the requirements for a degree in Secondary Education-Mathematics (EDMTH ) Teacher Licensure Program in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction section of the catalog. Licensure in one or more of the optional programs is available only to students who have successfully completed an approved full licensure program in another (first or primary) teaching area.
