Doctoral degree requirements

The Microbiology Ph.D. degree, offered through the Biology graduate program, requires a minimum of 24-30 hrs course work, including 15 hours of courses at the 800 level. Course selection is done in consultation and approval of the student’s supervisory committee and should include the following.
