Select any 5 of the 6.  Each is offered only once every three years.

• IMSE 680 - Quantitative Problem Solving Techniques Credits: (3)
• IMSE 806 - Engineering Project Management Credits: (3)
• IMSE 810 - Industrial Logistics Engineering Credits: (3)
• IMSE 811 - Advanced Production and Inventory Control Credits: (3)
• IMSE 822 - Advanced Engineering Economy Credits: (3)

Electives (15 hours)

Electives are any course offered by any department other than IMSE. It is suggested that students take courses in Psychology, Business and other Engineering disciplines that will broaden and enhance their management or engineering skills.

Guidelines and Additional Requirements

* Actual degree requirements will be summarized on an approved plan of study. Some general guidelines include:


–At most 6 hours can be transfered from another school, unless prior approval is given

–No more than 6 hours can be taken from an outside department without prior permission

–Courses in the IMSE department must be above the 600 level

–Courses outside the department must be above the 500 level

–No more than 6 hours can be taken at the 500 level


** Students on-campus are required to enroll in the graduate seminar each semester 

** Besides the above academic requirements, a graduating student must have at least 3 years of full-time work experience.
