Music (MUSED) K-12 Teacher Licensure Program

Licensure requirements (43 credit hours)
Students planning to be music teachers must complete the approved teacher licensure program as part of the requirements for the bachelor of music education in the College of Arts and Sciences. Completion of this program satisfies state of Kansas program requirements for licensure for grades K–12. The following courses is required for admission to teacher education:

The application for admission to a teacher education program must be filed and approved before a student may enroll in any of the following courses which must be completed before entry into the professional semester.
