HORT 566 - Indoor Vertical Farming Systems Lab Credits 1
Indoor Vertical Farming Systems Lab is a lab-based course that provides experiential learning in tandem with HORT 460 Indoor Vertical Farming Systems lecture course. The lab is focused on experiencing the daily tasks of growing food crops in smart tents by managing all environmental parameters. Field trips to commercial vertical farms will also be taken.
Note Lab materials and instruction for this course will be provided on site at or near the Manhattan and Olathe campuses. One 110-minute lab will be taught weekly, and student teams will manage crop production during weekdays.
