STAT 795 - Statistical and Mathematical Artificial Intelligence and Learning Capstone Experience

A research, extension, or industry-based experience that builds upon an individual student’s academic training and personal experience in preparation for a successful career. This course is a hands-on project on solving a practical problem from delimitating the project goals, establishing a data gathering/usage strategy, identifying the analysis strategy, conducting the analysis, providing insights, and effectively communicating the results.

Note
A final report is to be submitted at the end of the semester along with a presentation on the capstone experience. Students are expected to take this capstone course at the end of the program.

There will be a symposium at the end of the semester for students to present their experiences.
