GEOL 631 - Geoenergy Exploration Credits 3
Examines geoenergy resources, including conventional and unconventional hydrocarbons, geothermal energy, natural hydrogen, subsurface energy storage, and carbon sequestration. Students apply integrative basin analysis to assess resource potential and examine societal and environmental impacts.
Note Designed as a science elective for advanced undergraduates and graduate students.
