ECON 608 - Python and Artificial Intelligence Tools for Economics Credits 3
Introduces Python for economists, covering functions, loops, classes, data management, visualization, and optimization while using real economic data. Students then apply AI tools—machine learning, web scraping, deep learning, and NLP—to analyze economic behavior and solve forecasting and policy problems, gaining hands-on experience through applied projects.
