The course focuses on four themes: (1) the source, discovery, and evaluation of innovation and opportunities; (2) the provisions of innovation (products and services) that satisfy the needs of customers; (3) the development of mechanisms to appropriate the returns from the exploitation of the innovation; and (4) the organization of efforts to innovate.
