ASI 865 - Analytical Techniques: Protein Analysis

Credits: 1

The course will provide an overview of techniques commonly used for protein analysis in research using animal tissues. Topics will include protein extraction from tissues, determining protein concentration, types of gel electrophoresis for different protein sizes, Western blotting and proteomics.   

Note
Course will be offered the first 3 weeks of the Fall Semester. Components include three 90-minute lectures + one 8-hour laboratory per week.
