CE 501 - Project Economic Evaluation Credits: 1
This course provides an introduction to the economic evaluation of projects and the fundamental principles for comparing alternative projects. Students will learn core engineering economics concepts, including the time value of money, inflation, depreciation, and taxes. Through practical applications, students will develop the skills to make informed financial decisions in various engineering contexts.
Note Three 50-minute lectures per week for one third of the semester.

Requisites Prerequisite: Junior standing for engineering majors or Senior standing for non-engineering majors.
