CE 585 - Civil Engineering Project Credits: 3
This capstone course is designed for final-semester Civil Engineering majors. It provides students with the opportunity to apply and integrate knowledge and skills acquired throughout their elective coursework in a comprehensive, team-based design project. Students will work collaboratively to produce a complete civil engineering design, which includes preparing and presenting both a professional written design report and an oral presentation. The course emphasizes practical application, teamwork, and communication skills essential for a career in civil engineering.
Note Students take CE 585 during their last planned semester of their B.S. program.
Prerequisite or concurrent enrollment in the remaining required CE design electives.
One hour of lecture and six hours of lab per week.
Repeat for Credit N
Requisites Prerequisite: ENGL 415 and “C” or better in two 3-hour CE design electives.
