MUSIC 441 - Pop Music Icons Credits 3
An exploration of the musical decisions that define the world’s leading pop musicians and songwriters. Using directed listening and curated playlists, students will engage with musical offerings and develop an understanding of influences for each artist studied. Individual artists or collected groups of artists are examined in detail.

No previous training is necessary, but prior work with the elements of music, songwriting, or a broad popular music course may be helpful.
