FDSCI 627 - Chemical Methods of Food Analysis Credits 2
Methods for quantitative chemical analyses of foods products. Analytical techniques covered include proximate analysis, spectroscopy, chromatography, mass spectrometry and immunochemistry. The analyses will be related to standards and regulations for food processing.
Note Three hours lecture and three hours lab a week. Meets during the first half of the semester.
