SPAN 772 - Spain Today

Explores key issues of contemporary Spain including the legacy of the Spanish Civil War.  Interdisciplinary focus on a topic, such as regional tensions, economics, politics.  Representative literary texts and media serve as a basis for developing a critical view of the region.

Develops the ability to interpret and craft complex, abstract language. Reading- and writing-intensive class.
