ART 563 - Topics in Digital Photography

Credits 3

An intermediate level exploration of digital photography, students continue to develop their understanding of DSLR camera and software-based techniques to produce artwork. Students work on practical projects using digital imaging technologies such as DSLR capture, scanning, and professional inkjet printing, and research the use of such technologies by contemporary artists.

Required Hardware: Laptop computer (not tablet) capable of running the current desktop version of Adobe CC Creative Cloud Software; Required Software: Adobe Creative Cloud subscription. Cameras can be rented from the Art Department.
