CHE 633 - Microbial Biotechnology

Continued advancements in microbiology have enabled the ability to use microorganisms for engineering applications. Thus, microbial biotechnology is a rapidly expanding area that has potential to improve agriculture productivity, provide renewable sources of energy, and improve the health of plants, animals, and humans, among other applications. This course will highlight these research areas and will emphasize chemical engineering concepts found within these systems.
