FFM 280 - Introduction to Food and Feed Safety

This course introduces students in technical education to foundational concepts in food and feed safety, focusing on the identification and control of various hazards. Students will learn about the different types of hazards—physical, chemical, and biological—and explore key biological and viral pathogens that can impact food and feed production. The course covers essential safety practices, regulatory standards, and methods for preventing contamination.
