FFM 171 - Pet Food Processing

This course provides an in-depth overview of the pet food manufacturing process, covering the production of dry food, wet food, canned food, and pet treats. Students will explore the process flow for each type of product, learning how raw materials are processed, formulated, and packaged, along with the identification and operation of key equipment used in each stage. The course emphasizes the technical aspects of machinery operation, maintenance, and quality control specific to pet food manufacturing. By the end of the course, students will have a comprehensive understanding of how different pet foods are produced and the equipment involved in their creation.
