EDEL 415 - Teaching Methods for Mathematics, PK-2 Credits: 3
Focuses on teaching mathematics in the elementary school, grades PK-2. Topics include: reform movements in math education, effective learning environments, students’ and teachers’ views and experiences with mathematics, pedagogy of major mathematical concepts, and the nature of mathematical and reasoning processes.

Intended to be required for all undergraduate elementary education majors.
