SOCIO 850 - Criminal Justice in Context

Examines various institutions of contemporary criminal justice operations, focusing primarily on the “three C’s”-cops, courts, and corrections-and adjacent subjects such as law. Emphasis will be given to foundational works that emphasize history, theory, policy, and empirical research.
