CSD 580 - Neurological Basis of Communication and Swallowing Disorders

Introduction to basic neuroanatomy and physiology as it relates to processes of human communication and swallowing.  Learn about the nervous system and how health conditions that affect neurological function contribute to activity limitations and participation restrictions. Provides foundational knowledge for students in communication sciences and disorders and health majors about individuals who have neurologically-based communication and swallowing disorders.
