ANTH 516 - Ethnomusicology Credits: 3
Music, dance, and other performance subcultures from the United States and around the world will be explored in depth. Emphasis is placed on understanding music and dance styles in their cultural context, including how they change in the era of globalization. The class also explores how social identity is expressed through music-making and other performance cultures.
