ME 661 - Introduction to Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Credits: 3
This interdisciplinary course will cover basic areas of nanotechnology, which includes synthesis of various nanomaterials (0D, 1D and 2D nanostructure), mechanical property assessment (hardness, modulus, yield strength measurements), energy generation (solar energy, thermoelectrics and energy generation from vibrations), 3-D printing of nanocomposites and energy storage.
Note: This course is designed for final year senior and/ or graduate students interested in the areas of experimental nanoscale science and engineering.
