ANTH 384 - Fundamentals of Forensic Anthropology

Credits: 3

Provide students with basic knowledge of human skeletal anatomy, as well as the principles guiding the recovery and analysis of human remains, and the bioanthropological methods applied in their identification, within a legal context. Will rely on case study examples to familiarize students with the steps and analyses involved in the process of forensic recovery and identification of human remains. The use of case studies will facilitate learning by providing an engaging way to introduce students to Forensic Anthropology.
