SSO 735 - Electron Microscopy of Aerospace Materials

Credits: 3

This course introduces students to the theory, fundamental operating principles, specimen preparation techniques, and chemical analysis utilizing scanning electron microscopy (SEM).  Additionally, this course will emphasize these principles and techniques for characterizing the structure of aerospace materials at different length scales.
