EDCI 812 - History of Education

Credits: 3

The history of education is explored critically through multiple perspectives. Complex forces governing changes in education are exposed–forces that are felt but unseen. By studying historical contexts, much about schooling today is seen as problematic and open to question–not as inevitable. This study pushes past a passive acceptance of the status quo via a vigorous, fresh analysis.
