PLAN 815 - Planning Theory, Ethics and Practice Credits: 3
Review of the basic theories of regional and community growth and change, analysis of the process of urbanization in relation to societal determinants and environmental constraints, and the study of a process of planning for professional practice. Exploration of societal and human values in relation to issues of equity, social justice, economic welfare, and efficient use of resources, as well as ethical approaches to these issues.
