PAS 895 - Summative Credits: 2
Designed to prepare students for the final transition from student to medical provider. Didactic and clinical year grades, preceptor evaluations, and assignments specific to the Summative assessment will be reviewed to ascertain the student’s ability to function as a successful graduate Physician Assistant. Physician Assistant practice topics will be covered, including certifying examination review, certification process, professional licensure, malpractice, professional career planning, contract negotiations, credentialing process and financial planning. Content will be delivered in lecture, lab and small groups.

Requisites: Successful completion of Clinical Year Rotations (B or better is PAS 800-892).
