HDFS 890 - Application of Research & Statistics in Human Development and Family Science

Credits: 3

Development of students’ skills as quantitative methodologists and scholars. Students will refine their thinking about their research program and explore data sets that complement their research interests. Application, for purposes of this course, involves the utilization of statistical knowledge and techniques in practice, and the ability to convey this information to others, both through academic writing and through hands-on instruction.

Note:
Familiarity with the basic functions of SPSS and AMOS are recommended.

Prerequisite: FSHS 888 and any upper division or graduate level statistics courses.
