EDACE 980 - The Dissertation ProcessCredits: 3
Dissertation proposal development is one of the major challenges encountered toward earning a doctoral degree. This course outlines the basic components of a dissertation study with a focus on the proposal—the dissertation’s first three chapters. It then focuses on developing and writing chapter one. It is important that each student has a general idea for his or her dissertation research topic prior to the class start date. In addition to working with the course instructor, each student is expected to work closely with their major advisor.
