HORT 705 - Hydroponic Food ProductionCredits: 3
This hands-on course explores hydroponic growing methods both regionally and internationally, incorporating production of tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, leafy greens, herbs, microgreens, and berries into a variety of production systems used in controlled environment agriculture. Topics will also include sustainability of the systems and an introduction to safe food handling practices.
Requisites: Requisite: Junior Standing or Consent of Instructor
Recommended prerequisite: HORT 570
