EDCEP 930 - Approaches to Academic Advising: Linking Theory, Research, and Practice

Credits: 3

This is an advanced study of foundational and emerging academic advising approaches. It aims to deepen student knowledge of the interdisciplinary scholarship and theory that underpin these approaches. Approaches will be from critical perspectives including applicability with different student groups and at different institutions; an evaluation of outcome research; and an exploration of assessment strategies.

Requisites:
Prerequisite: Admission to doctoral program Leadership in Academic Advising.
