Using an intersectional lens, this course explores gender, race, class, global location, and sexuality in the production, portrayals, and consumption of popular culture. The popular culture forms explored in this course may include fiction, film, television, music, magazines, advertising, and/or material culture.
Requisites: Prerequisite: GWSS 105 or at least 3 hours of Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies credit.
